Killarney Swimming Club are delighted to be awarded €1,200 funding from the Community Activities
Fund (CAF), which is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Elaine O’Donoghue, PRO said “Similar to many other voluntary clubs, we have suffered disruption
and financial challenges during the Covid 19 pandemic. This funding is very welcome and will greatly
help with the significant operating costs of running a swimming club. This year, 2022, is a very
significant, as it marks the 10th anniversary of the club’s foundation. We would like to thank the
Department of Rural and Community Development for providing the funding, and Kerry County
Council/Kerry Local Community Development Committee who administered the fund locally”.
