Congratulations to our 13 swimmers who took part in the recent “B” gala in the University of Limerick long-course pool. Results were very encouraging with many swimmers improving on their “personal best” times and plenty of medals in the bag: 

200m freestyle –

Male U13 -Alan O Shea – gold

Female – U11 – Treasa O Sullivan – Silver

               16 and over – Sinead Lucey – Silver

100m backstroke –

Male U13 – Alan O Shea -silver

Female – U11 – Treasa O Sullivan – Silver

200m Individual Medley –

Female – U11 – Wiktoria Niewiadomska – silver

Several parents travelled on the bus and by car to encourage and support. Thanks to those who volunteered for timekeeping duties on the day and to Oran Kane who coached and mentored all day. 

Well done also to Emer O Dowd on winning our recent website competition with six fully correct answers! The prize will be presented shortly.
