Congratulations to all our swimmers who took part in the Munster Development 2 Gala in Tralee recently with fine performances all round.

Girls under 12 – Jocelyn Hickey put on a class show, winning a trio of silvers in the 100 IM, the 200 freestyle, and the 100 freestyle.

Girls under 13 – Faye O’Neill took a stunning gold in the 200 freestyle while Sarah McAuliffe won silver in the difficult 100 breaststroke.

Boys under 13 – Peter O’Doherty set the place alight with a gold in the 100 IM while Ian Coffey won silver in an exceptionally fast 200 IM.

Girls under 14 – Alison Butler won a lovely bronze medal in the 100 butterfly.

Boys under 15 – Nathan O’Connor won silver in the 100 butterfly while Ross O’Leary won three bronzes for Killarney in the 200 and 100 IM and the 100 freestyle.

Girls under 16 – Molly Whelan took a great silver in the 200 freestyle while Marnie Horan won a precious bronze in the 100 breaststroke.
