Well done to our swimmers who took part in the Munster Short Course Championships in UL recently.  This was the first opportunity for our swimmers to participate in competitive swimming in a very long time, so it was anticipated with relish.

Congratulations to Alison Butler, Meabh Doolan and Peter O’Doherty on some fantastic times across all strokes and particular congratulations to Ian Coffey who notched up a sub 1 minute time in the 100 metres freestyle (59.93 seconds) – only the second time that has been done in club history, the last person being Alan O’Shea all those years ago. Ian is definitely one to watch for the future!
