3rd June 2014 notes

Our “end of year” outing is on this Saturday, the 7th of June.   Details have already been sent by text and the weather forecast is looking good!

Best of luck to our swimmers taking part in the divisional galas in Dublin.

Best wishes also to any of our swimmers doing exams.  Just remember – if you can do 100M Butterfly, you can do anything!

Well done to all our swimmers and coaches this year.  Thanks to you, Killarney Swimming Club has had great success in galas since last Autumn.

Swimming training starts again on the first week in September and, in the meantime, enjoy the Summer!

The official launch of the club’s website ( www.killarneyswimmingclub.com ) and Facebook page will take place Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre at 7pm on Tuesday the 25th of March.  All are invited and welcome.

To celebrate the launch, the club is offering a prize to the member who emails us with the most correct answers to the questions below.  Closing date is the 8th of April and you can enter as many times as you like.  If there is more than one person with the highest number of correct answers, we will draw the winner from a hat.  There are no other rules.  None.

The question?  There are 60 wonderful photos, from the club’s Christmas gala, posted in the “Gallery” section of the site, all taken by the club’s official photographer,  Terry MacSweeney. Counting from left to right, can you name the swimmers in photos 4, 5, 9, 12, 19, 23, 33, 45, and 58?
